Your barber

Meet Pikiao

Pikiao has spent years behind the clippers, sharpening his craft on everything from skin fades and tapers to classic scissor cuts. Raised on whanaungatanga, he started cutting for whānau and mates before turning it into a trade — and he's never lost that community-first approach. Pikiao brings the barbershop to the people: marae, rest homes, supported living and homes across the motu, with patience, respect and a sharp eye for detail. Every client leaves feeling fresh, confident and ready to show up.

Our story

How Interfade began

Interfade was born from a partnership between barber Pikiao and Interconnected NZ founder Jacob Crown. Through this collaboration, Interfade was created as part of the Interconnected group — with a clear mission: delivering fresh cuts and barbering services to members of the community who have a disability, in the comfort of their own homes.

It's barbering built on whanaungatanga — bringing the chair to the people who need it most, and making sure everyone can show up fresh.
